Little Tot Sock Hop

***
Last Friday night was our 1st Annual Little Tot Sock Hop! There were beach balls, floating rings, kiddie pool filled with macaroni and shovels and pails to go with it. The kids had a blast and Grandma and I worked up quite the sweat! There had to be at least 50 kids with their parents there and everyone was going in different directions. Aiden was the only one that did dance and that was only in small spurts of running in circles and stopping long enough to shake his hips a couple of times. The DJs helper even worked hard trying to keep Aiden out from behind the DJs work station. Phew! I worked really hard trying to keep ahold of the boys and taking pictures at the same time. Thanks Grandma for your help!!! Aaron was more interested in playing with the beach balls and the macaroni pool! It was wild!!!!

They even had a parachute for the kids to run under and back out. They had a really good time. They even took all the beach balls on the top and bounced them around.

This last picture amazes me so I wanted to share it with everyone. Remember when our necks could stretch back like that and not throw out backs out?!?! LOL! Good keeping your eye on the ball Aaron!!!!!

Temps dropped down the last two nights and I was afraid that we would lose all of our spring blooms again this year. I went out for inspection this morning and it looked like the frost left everything alone. Hooray! We might actually have apples and peaches this year on our trees! Temps are suppose to get back up over the next couple of days. I am soooo ready.

Are we too old for Softball?

We decided to get ourselves a little more active and maybe it would help us get rid of our extra baggage and some fresh air to boot. Right now, Rick plays on a co-ed and mens softball league (when it doesn't rain). This particular league is taking forever to be finished because every night that we have had a game it has rained. We are now three weeks behind. I do want to say, first and foremost, I don't like to play softball. I am horrible at it and I don't enjoy it. So, please tell me why is it I get stuck playing?!?! I am REALLY bad and when they are short players they start looking in my direction. I go to see my hubby play. I told them I was going to start showing up in heels. When I was told that that didn't matter then I was seriously thinking about showing up in an arm sling. I strike out EVERY time. They called yesterday wanting me to play. I said no, I don't want to. They told me to bring my shoes anyways. I told them whatever and hung up the phone, went outside and started to do a rain dance. Guess what! It rained!!! Desperate huh! LOL! Anyways, here are some pictures of practice. BTW...My goal of getting rid of my spare tire is by playing volleyball.

Creeping Back In...

Well, if no one has given up on me, I am going to finally post again. Sorry. Here goes...
We have picked up the pace a little bit here lately with the weather warming up and I am almost begging people to take our puppies. We have accomplished with giving one away. Yes, one. Grrr. We are going to have to go to Walmart and sit in the parking lot until enough people feel sorry for them and take them home. I have posted ads and flyers.
It has been interesting. Last weekend we were going to go and sit at Walmart but can you believe it? It snowed off and on all day. In mid April. This has been one of the craziest winters ever!
I want to post some of our Easter pictures of the boys. They were really cute. Aaron has a cowboy hat that he really loves (and I do too :)) so I decided to use it during my picture taking. Check them out!
